FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

You will receive an Accredited Diploma Certificate. All courses are accredited by ABT Insurance (it is your responsibility to arrange your own public liability insurance). This means that after this course you will be able to obtain public liability insurance. Enabling you to carry out the treatment on paying clients.

All equipment is provided for you to use on the day of training. There isn’t anything that you need to bring with you. A kit is not included. Kits are available to buy on the day. Full product training is also provided, different brands, stockists and wholesalers will be recommend to you, when you leave the course this gives you the option of which brand you would like to go with and which brand fits with your budget.

Yes all our courses are fully accredited and fully insurable with ABT insurance and an insurance provider of your choice (it is your responsibility to arrange your own Public Liability Insurance)

You will receive your certificate on the day of training, upon successful completion of the course.

No - All training is conducted whist you are on the course. There are no case studies or pre-study before attending the course.

We always encourage students to work on each other, there really isn't a better time to practice. We always perform a demonstration of the treatment prior to you practicing. On our eyelash extensions course students will start working on a mannequin head before starting to work on each other. Students will only perform a patch test, where you will place 2 or 3 eyelash extensions on to the outer corner of your partners eye and then remove the extensions. However, if students are unable to have this done then your work will be marked with the lashes you have applied to the mannequin head. Therefore, it is advised that students attend the class prepared for example, contacts will need to be removed (please ensure you bring your contact solution and case) and minimal eye-makeup (preferably non at all). However, eye-makeup remover will be provided on the day of training if needed.

In most cases no models are required; students will work on each other for the practical element. However, if you feel more comfortable bringing your own model for the course please let us know in advance (via telephone or email). If the course has an uneven number of students you may be asked to bring your own model however, you will be contacted in advance.

Full payment is required at the time of booking, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend the course: please contact the Academy as soon as possible.

You will be trained by me Hayley Ellis: on some occasions I may have an assistant with me.

It is advisable to wear black or dark clothing to the training session, some of the products can be difficult to remove from clothing if spilt. (To note the Academy does not accept any liability for any clothing that may be damaged). If you have purchased a beauty tunic for your new journey this is an ideal opportunity to wear it. Most important is that you are comfortable and appropriately dressed.

On the day of training all equipment will be provided to you.

You must be at least 16 years old to join the course so you can then apply for public liability insurance.
